Bring What You Love

People, today we launch another phase in the Save The Africa Centre Campaign’s digital presence – each day we will bring to your attention a new song that embodies some of the spirit of what STAC is about. All these songs are beautiful, inspirational, revolutionary or transformative. We want your suggestions too. You can send these to: savetheafricacentre@gmail.com with the words ‘I Bring What I love’ in the subject line – or share the link with the statement ‘Save The Africa Centre’ on our page.  The First track is this beautiful song by Youssou N’Dour, one of the signatories to the (April 6th) letter to the Times Newspaper calling on the trustees to reconsider. In ‘I Bring What I love’ Youssou N’Dour expresses many of the inchoate feelings many in Africa and the diaspora feel about our past, present and future. And there’s a lesson for the trustees to hear too….

Youssou N’Dour, ‘I Bring What I Love’

Thanks to Dudu Sarr and Boko Inyundo for highlighting this track.
